I wonder if the people of Taxechucetts feel like they are being well represented in the Senate?

The keep re-electing Kennedy so obviously the quality of representation was never an issue with the voters of the People's Republic of Mass.

No time for security
No time for my Senate seat
Seasons change and so did I
You need not wonder why
You need not wonder why
There's no time left for you
No time left for you

I got, got, got, got no time
I got, got, got, got no time
I got, got, got, got no time

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seem to recall, in an unguarded moment after Thomas Gibson had Flurch Munster on GMA, talking about how Flurch Munster contradicted his own statements to Peta Jennings about thrrowing his "medals, ribbons", and FM's regurgitation about it being a controversy started by the Republicans, whose President can't even prove he served in the Guard (because, of course, he........served in Vietnam...)

What did the Flurch Munster say afterwards, when it was over, about liberal, LameScream ABC News? "God, they're doing the work of the Republican National Party."

No, John. Not "Senator" (you're never there). Statements like this show that YOU'RE doing the work of (or at least, for) the Republican National Party. Considering the "John/John" makeup of your ticket, "c--p or get off the pot."

Most certainly.

That counts as fair use.

They may even be able to use a short soundbite without permission...but I am not sure. I don't think an ad would qualify for fair use if you use a short clip.

Maybe.

Wouldn't tv be like a book, where you can use a portion without permission?

June 16, 2004 -- WASHINGTON — Top Republicans in John Kerry's home state of Massachusetts yesterday urged him to resign from the Senate to run for president — because he's there so rarely, he has missed 88 percent of Senate votes.

NY Post

All while illegally drawing his $158,000 salary:

John Kerry is stealing from the taxpayers, and he must be held accountable.

2 U.S.C. § 39 mandates that "The Secretary of the Senate ... shall deduct from the [salary] of each Member ... the amount of his salary for each day that he has been absent from the Senate ... unless such Member ... assigns as the reason for such absence the sickness of himself or of some member of his family."

The Secretary of the Senate refuses to dock Sen. Kerry's pay for the days he is absent running for President. In response to a legal letter demanding that she enforce the law, the Senate Secretary said that, because her predecessors had failed to enforce the law, she would not enforce it either.

The fact that this idiot actually has a good chance to win this election says much more about us as a country and a people then it does about him. What a sad state we are in as a country. Soon, if not already, the ignorant people and those just wanting a free handout will outnumber the informed and those willing to work. I think we might be there already and that is why Kerry just might be elected.

"KERRY: Well, I haven't been briefed yet, Larry. They have offered to brief me. I just haven't had time."

He is probably briefed sub rosa on a continuing basis, but this public statement gives him plausible deniability should he ever need it in the future. Or he knows he going down the tube in November and really doesn't give a poop.

These rap "artists" have been ripping off others' work without paying a dime, for decades, based on the 7-second rule. Why should a political ad be different?

With Kerry's Botox and hair appointments, who has time for national security issues? Also, I wonder how long TARASA has to live in this country before she loses that heavy accent. It's hard to understand her.

Do you realise that this is the second time Kerry has pulled this type of stunt. Remember when Bush released the ad criticizing Kerry for voting for the war and then against the 87 billion - a few days later, Kerry said "I actually voted for the 87 billion, before I voted against it."

Now, just two days ago, Bush released the ad "Priorities" showing that Kerry has been absent from a majority of senate votes. Now, Kerry added this quote. I guess Bush will just have to ammend this ad as well!

You have to wonder how possible it is that, in his position, he could say something harmful to our interests, not being up to date on the evolving security situation. Or, for that matter, if he cares.

I am rather looking forward to the debates. Kerry is a certifiable moron. He is about as deep as a mirror.

Totally obcessed with image and not at all with substance.

Bush will eat him alive.
