Today in the Oval Office, President Bush met with King Mohammed VI of Morocco, and later welcomed 14 year old David Tidmarsh of South Bend, Indiana, winner of the 2004 Scripps Howard Spelling Bee. This afternoon, he spoke via satellite to the League of United Latin American Citizens at their Annual Convention.
The Bush campaign released a new, strong anti-Kerry ad, and in good polling news released by the AP, the President moved ahead of Kerry, despite the usual VP bump, and in even better news, in a survey on hair quality, the President soundly beat Kerry by a 51 - 30 percent margin!
Its another good day to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

QUOTE of the DAY: You see, brave Americans like Sergeant Denogean are sacrificing for the cause of our country, and America has needed that sacrifice. Our men and women in uniform have removed two terrorist regimes that threatened our people and are now helping the Iraqi and Afghan people get on the path to democracy and self-government. By fighting the terrorists abroad they have made American people more secure here at home. By standing for the cause of freedom, they're making our world more peaceful. And by acting in the best traditions of duty and honor, they're making our country proud.
From yesterday, but a new White House release and too good to pass up.....

I like the Semper Paratus of the lady on the left holding the video camera. You never know when the President might walk into your viewfinder.

Hey!
I got some news. My best friend is now a mommy!
Olivia Catherine came into the world Tuesday (3 weeks early, mind you!) much to the surprise and joy to her parents. Mom and daughter are just fine and dandy.

VP (current and future) Dick Cheney at the citizenship ceremony of Army Sgt. Isaac Reyes-Meija of Lima, Peru. Sgt. Reyes-Meija received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained while fighting in Iraq.......

And a couple latecomers that I don't think have been posted........
With World War II veteran, Walter Scott 'Scotty' Maconochie in Michigan.

Leaving the podium yesterday.....

Arriving back at the White House last night.....

And Laura, in Des Moines, Iowa yesterday, at the Blank Children's Hospital Day Care reading "I Love You, Little One" to Coby Williams, 5, as part of the "Reach Out to Read" program.....

THAT'S ALL!!
