First and foremost, I think it is inappropriate that detractors of Hillary Clinton's should make fun of her personal appearance and/or afflictions (though they are many). More attention should be paid to the issues surrounding Hillary and her personal agenda rather than her appearance...bovine at best. Currently Hillary has earned the dubious award of the "Yellow Streak". This is awarded only to cowards. I have seen all the postings that might possibly explain her silence. I would like to interject my own. I believe Hillary could not speak and express her views on local, state and national events simply because her mouth was busy attending to other matters of state the same way that her husband used to keep White House aides occupied. Cut her a little bit of slack. Hillary has no more control over her eating habits than she does over her foul, filthy, ignorant mouth. We should deal with the hand we were dealt for what it is and move on. Da Bear

Has anyone ever noticed that everybody makes fun of Michael Moore, but nobody every makes fun of Peter Jackson's appearance, even though he is chubby and funny-looking.
The reason is that Peter Jackson makes much better movies than Michael Moore. Come to think of it, Peter Jackson's movies also have much more truth in them than Michael Moore's.

I actually agree, and have posted similiar on other threads. However, it was brought to my attention that not only is FR about serious news and commentary, but it was also a little bit about fun.
I would still prefer people keep the personal attacks to a minimum, but it ain't my place to decide.
