On MSNBC News this morning, Norah O'Donnell said that "the President had invaded North Carolina." This was in response to the naming of Edwards as Kerry's choice for VP.

No liberal bias here. In fact, it was amazing to see how much John Edwards (the Breck Girl) and Norah look alike!

The visit was planned a long time ago.

The local news spent more time on the anti-Bush protesters than they did on the President himself. As if there aren't protesters everywhere the Clintons and the Johns go.

Q. If Bush's visit yesterday was an invasion, then what will Kerry's visit on Saturday be?
A. A love in.

"The visit was planned a long time ago."
That's what I would assume; campaign logistics generally preclude unplanned trips. Was she suggesting this was an unplanned panic visit to counter the Edwards selection?

Was she suggesting this was an unplanned panic visit to counter the Edwards selection? I didn't see it, but the DNC and the willing media have portrayed the visit as such.

How about this headline in the Charleston (SC) News & Courier:
Edwards adds voltage to Kerry campaign, Bush throws a jab
Of course the source of the story is Knight Ridder.

Nora outright lied about President Bush's comment......Cheney can be president. Put her own context on the story. As if hoping we didn't see the President ourselves.
