Doty believes a strong work ethic is the most important education a child can receive, which is why he brought the boys to work.

The state believes otherwise.
And they will destroy you to prove it.
Better your children should grow up to be dependent on state benefits.
Then, they'll leave you alone.

Here's a story of a real American patriot, idealistic enough to believe we still live in a free republic.
If they'll do this to a guy like Mr. Doty, none of us are exempt.

Public school failed him, he said

Or did he not apply himself? There's two sides to that story and we're hearing only his side.

When he was 8 or 9, he cut off four fingers at the knuckle while using a buzz saw

Ha, defeats his argument for a change in the child labor laws.

Angela Doty says her boys enjoy working with their dad because it provides them a strong male role model and a set of skills.

I knew he was a pig. Just the boys, huh? The girls just need to learn to cook and sew for the husband.

While the case plays out, Doty lingers around the house to spend time with the boys, watching his livelihood wither and feeling attacked

OK, that's it. I've wasted how many minutes on this fool? He's sitting around the house whining about big gubment attacking him instead of finding another job. The guy should have friends in the construction business who would gladly give him a job, unless they too have figured out he's a fool.

FREEPERS UNDER FIRE

I wonder how many FREEPERS are really into home birth and putting 11 year olds on top of houses that are being moved down the street?

Sounds like the guy is too cheap to hire real workers.

"The boys, 13 and 11 at the time, were riding on the peak of a house as it moved down the street, callers reported, pushing up low-hanging traffic lights. They were flagging traffic at construction sites, driving bulldozers and backhoes, and they seldom if ever wore protective gear. Fueling fears for the boys' safety, a backhoe flipped with Zach inside."

I'd be more inclined to feel supportive of this guy if his wife and eldest daughter weren't the only members of the family going barefoot. That family photo sure fuels the stereotype of religious fundamentalists wanting to keep women barefoot and pregnant.
