Sad News: Sultan88 Passed Away This Morning!!

Greg Summers (aka Sultan88) paased away this morning in a Petersburg, Virginia hospital. He's been sick for some time, but this news came as a total shock to me.
Greg was a kind, gentle man, who had a passion for all things that make America great...I am honored to consider him a good FRiend and he will be greatly missed by myself and all those who got to know his wisdom and sense of humor on FR.com. This is simply devastating news!!
My prayers go out to his family, including his son who we've come to know as 'yankhater" around here.

I didn't know the Sultan, but I can see on this thread that many did, and loved him. My sincere condolences, and I'll keep the family in my prayers.

Our "Sultan Memorial Baseball League" continues tomorrow after three days off in his honor. (Formerly the Virginia League).
Believe me, it ain't gonna be the same.
His was not a big mouth. Just had some insightful experiences and wisdom.
I just thought the world of the man. I would have loved to have met him.
It definately fells like there was a death in "the family".
