Please extend our warmest wishes and gratitude to Wilbur for his defending our nation in World War II and for living a good, long mature life to the ripe age of 80.
He still has a lot to be thankful for and I pray for his comfort and peace in this time of pain and sorrow.

Flyer, I'm so sorry about your dad. Prayers have been sent for his comfort and peace with the Lord. Please send me his addy. I'd like to thank him for his service to our country.
My dad will be 85 in 3 months. He too is a WWII vet, and has had colon cancer. They got his in time and he has been cancer free for 5 years. Those WWII vets are a tough bunch of guys. Btw, tell your dad he looked real cute in that grass skirt. :-)

Please Freepmail me the address. My uncle is a little over 80 and was in the 101st Signal Battalion. I'm looking at pictures of him and his buddies on Leyte - they look so young.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Flyer. Prayers are on the way. I lost my Dad a few years back, and the fact that he lived a full, happy, and meaningful life has been a consistent comfort.
