Aha!
Caught you in the Main Act for once.:))
{{{ JH2 }}}
Yes! Mark this down for the history books -- heh, heh! ;-)
Great 'seein' ya LIVE! ;-)
Oh my goodness - -
so, JH, exactly when did you see me 'DEAD'
in order to make that comparison?
hahahahaha
Friday is house cleaning day. The closet is first on the agenda...
Why did you do that to that poor little kitty?!!!
I'm gonna tell Christian and Logan on you - -
G'evening to ya, Diver Dave. Great to see you too, my friend.
P.S. I also always appear here on FR "In Person" - -
never have used a stand-in..:))
Got that in an e-mail and thought you'd enjoy it. :)
This is a cat-free house. Just looking at the pic makes me wanna reach for the Benedryl. Ahchoo!
LOL! How can that kitty look so peaceful & comfortable?! He's just snoozin' away! (This must not be real!) :)
hahahaha
Ze kitty is real.
You are real.
Diver Dave is unreal!!
Playing with a new (computerized) device, and will go back down eventually, if not sooner...
I'm always up late, because I live on 2nd and 3rd-shift hours. I love the sounds of the night; the crickets chirping, the cyotes howlin', and listening to my cottonwood tree's leaves chattering in the wind.
Many a night in July, I celebrated Christmas and its Light Show - -
Nowhere else have I ever seen so many fireflies, and I'd sit out there in the night hours with them glowing by the thousands, soaring up to heights of 40' - the fireflies, that is, as well as the taller trees!
It was God's Gift - and always so awesome - -
When my grandson, Kyle, was 10 months old and stirred one night, I took him out to watch it with me, burying my face in that sweet, curly head - - Life's Precious Moments...
Indeed, my friend, indeed.
We have fireflies (or, "lightnin' bugs" as we call them here)at our country place we bought recently; they are beautiful! Praise our Lord for giving us these wonderful things to enjoy!
What a blessing that must have been for you both, to watch the wonders of the Lord together! Thank You, our Loving God, for all of Your kindnesses to us!
That 'sweet baby boy' will be 19 in August, and towers over me now...:))
Congrats :-)
I chose the second one after walking them all - 1.34 acres - and only one pine tree in the back - lots of white dogwoods for Spring glory.
The builder gave us free rein as to exactly where to place the house - no restrictions at all!
I found a huge oak that was really three trunks in one - and took my cue from that, representing the Trinity.
John let *me* stake out the foundation where I wanted it, 170 feet up from the road, looking down to it, and was just what we envisioned.
I positioned it right where from the dining room sliding doors with minimal 6 x 10 feet landing, we could add sections to go around the tree and beyond.
We made three of those, and I designed it so from the drive, there were 4 deep, 8' broad steps up to the deck - room to put pots of flowers flanking them - big enough for grandchildren to sit and eat or play board games on them, etc., and steps down from the back side.
It became a work of art and source of many hours of joy.
We also had many birds, and always had food strewn for them on the rails - messy, but wonderful to watch while we ate, all kinds ignoring the other groups while they dined themselves...
