I don't think Marc Rich will show up directly on the list, but see the list up thread at post #55, right under France

You're right ..

I just saw the list ... this thing spreads far and wide

We shall see though

Without FR, most likely not.

You may be right however, and I certainly hope so.

I think the American left needs proof of who our enemies are. The French are consistently coming up as NOT our friends and a good indictment under the Food for Oil program would do nicely. It's not about gotcha- its about finding out who our real friends and enemies are.

A gracious FReeper posted a thread a couple of weeks ago asking if anyone wanted to join them as their guest at the convention as they are delegates. A bunch of us responded which resulted in an essay write-off for the guest ticket.

I won. I will be there Tuesday through Friday and I can hardly wait nor hardly believe it!

I find this release of info very interestingly timed, since the lead "investigator" that had been hired by Bremer was killed in a car-bomb over the weekend.

My take...

The Investigator was more of a hindrance than a help, and was doing the bidding of Bremer, who was being "pressured" into holding back the damning info...so that France, Russia, and Germany would be a little more cooperative in the UN re: Iraq.

I'm wondering whether it was the new Govt. that had a hand in it, or if it was someone close to Chalabi...just my suspicious nature.

Well, I saw the old boy on TV last night who is heading up this investigation. I don't remember his name but he is a crusty ol' fart who is determined that heads are going to roll over this.

Let's get it on.

According to Bill Sammons latest book, they called Chirac "Jacques Iraq" because of his "devotion" to Iraq when Chirac "agreed to sell several nuclear reactors that would be capable of turning uranium into weapons-grade plutonium"

How reliable is MERI?
All they do is translate the Arab press.

"MEMRI", and I think they are more than translators. Have you looked at their website?

Scott Ritter, Jim McDermott, Cynthia McKinney, Terry McAuliffe, Maxine Waters, and CNN in the U.S.A.
George Galloway, Hans Blix, Jacques Chirac, Gerhard Schroeder, and Vladimir Putin abroad, should be very nervous!

Wouldn't it be nice if someone could connect the Denise Rich donation to hillary's campaign from Marc Rich's take from the oil for food money? Oh well, one can dream.....
