COLUMBUS, OH Today, Ohio pro-life activist Denise Mackura issued the following statement in regards to Sen. John Kerrys comments Sunday on abortion and the Catholic church:
"Could anyone really believe that John Kerry opposed partial birth abortion after he voted six times to keep this gruesome practice legal? Why is he trying to mislead people about his true position? As a Democrat, a Catholic, and an American, I am saddened that he continues to support this barbaric and extreme position. Our country needs a President who stands by his convictions on this critical issue, not someone who says he believes on thing and votes another.
Mackura is a member of the Ohio Democrats for Bush Coalition.
YOU GO GIRL!!
It's not merely that we want a president who 'stands by his convictions'...terrorists do that. Instead, we have a president who through study and humility knows right from wrong, and stands for truth. Kerry is a grown man still childishly saying "I know it's wrong, butit may not be wrong for someone else." Relativist. Truth isn't relative. Truth is truth. If it's murder and I wouldn't do it, it's still murder for those who do commit. Kerry doesn't have the character to stand for truth, good, rightness, so cannot lead.
