Steve.
Q Mr. President --
THE PRESIDENT: Yes, speak up. I'm getting a little --
Q If I could try another Edwards question. He's being described today as charming, engaging, a nimble campaigner, a populist, and even sexy. How does he stack up against Dick Cheney?
THE PRESIDENT: Dick Cheney can be President.
Next.
GREAT,,, thanks for find the transcipt! It was awesome!
Great answer. Can't argue with truth.
No because Rush did not set up the sound bite.
A WABC radio news reporter just quoted that Bush soundbite that CHENEY COULD BE PRESIDENT
"sniveling, whiney" liberal,"
That sounds like Howard Fineman, Chris Matthews, Dan Rather, Andrea Mitchell, Al Hunt, Judy Woodward, Peter Jennings...... well, you get the idea. The whole liberal bunch of them. They make me sick. I haven't been able to watch any news since about 7:30 a.m. yesterday. I refuse to listen to the garage about the Johns.
They just replaced it on the Charlotte News (WBT radio) 1pm News Update !
That is an utter b!t¢hslap.
I love it.
Reminds me of Rummy.
I bet he had the answer all along and was just waiting, hoping for it to be asked.
That had to leave a bruise on the left.
Check out Reuters latest:
Bush Raises Issue of Edwards' Experience to Be VP
RALEIGH, N.C. (Reuters) - President Bush criticized Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards in his own home state on Wednesday by questioning whether Edwards has sufficient experience to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.
A day after Edwards was picked by Democratic White House hopeful John Kerry as his running mate, Bush raised the experience issue when asked how Edwards stacked up against his own vice president, Dick Cheney.
"Dick Cheney can be president," Bush said briskly.
Notice that Bush was asked (not needled not hounded not pressed) and yet the big meanie responded briskly.
Of course you can see later in the article why Mean Old Mr. Bush was being nasty to America's favorite boyish orator:
The Republican president is bracing for a Kerry bounce in the polls following his choice of Edwards and the Democratic nominating convention at the end of this month.
Dead cat bounce, at best.
Perhaps the gigolee is closing her purse.
Ha Ha! Can't believe Reuters picked it up...(I mean sure they picked it up,,, But they actually reported it!)
ROFL! Hope its everywhere!
I saw it on TV and I'm still laughing

I heard it on Rush as well. I think the interview took place down in North Carolina, Dubya is there for a 25K per plate luncheon.
Round these parts, we call that a bitch slapping.....LOL!
Take that memory to bed with you tonight, you dumbass typist.
Just saw it PMSNBC
In reality, it will be a dead cat bounce. The media, however, will make it seem like a 50-state landslide bounce.
