CO, I thought that coffin birth only meant that the baby came out after the mother was dead and when her body decomposed the baby explodes through the uterus because of the gases.
I didn't think coffin birth actually meant through the birth canal, am I wrong in this?
Not according to this Dr. Spunky. In fact, he stated that due to cold and the strength and thickness of the uterine muscle that there would have been very minimal bacterial activity in the uterus. The wall of the uterus at the fundus began to deteriorate and the baby floated out from there. I didn't get the impression that he was exploded out by built up gases. Coffin birth, is when they are forced through the birth canal which obviously didn't happen here.
that is what I thought a coffin birth was too spunky
No--believe it or not, I'm pretty sure coffin birth means the baby actually gets forced out (gases) through the birth canal.
And it's almost like the person who disposed of Laci's body had heard of it, too, considering that they taped up her crotch area and left her pants on her.
