THE military screwed up the crime scene so bad in the macdonald case that I am suprised that he is still in jail, there was a lot of drifters using lsd ,and every drug in the book, and I would not want his inlaws, these folks loved him until they found out he was moving on with his life, and peterson is way a cad but a murderer, I need more evidence before I would wish him dead ,so far the da has shown nothing, I hope that in all of the cases of murder that the right person is brought to justice.
Do yourself a favor, get educated on the Jeffrey MacDonald case. Go to your nearest bookstore, and buy the novel "Fatal Vision". I guarantee after you read it, you'll be convinced of MacDonald's guilt. His inlaws were wonderful people, and in fact gave him the benefit of the doubt. It was only after Colleen's step-father read all the transcripts of the investigation and the case that he seeked justice, and they finally got it.
As far a Peterson is concerned it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know he's guilty as sin. I just hope those on the jury don't think the way you do.
All was not well btw McDonald and his wife, in part b/c of McDonald's cheating on her.
Jeffrey McDonald's pajama fibers were found in his daughter's room, on or almost on her dead body. They were also found in other telltale places.
Later, McDonald and his counsel zeroed in on a drug-addicted, schizophrenic woman who was defenseless, and cajoled her into saying things which they said made it look like she was "the woman in the floppy hat." This was done b/c it was all they could do at the time to save McDonald's sorry a*s.
McDonald was possibly flying on speed and this caused dramatic changes in his mood and behavior. Persons high on that stuff have been known to act in very extreme ways.
McDonald treated his in-laws terribly. Among other things, he refused to give them a transcript of his first hearing, even while promising repeatedly to give it to them. He also told them a tall tale about having supposedly killed "one of the hippies" who he said had killed his family. I'm glad his wife's step-father kept on trying. He was a true hero.
There's more, bu I will simply say that in my opinion, McDonald is a sorry sack of excrement whose only thought has ever been to protect his own sorry behind.
I am sure you will come back like gangbusters; I don't care. McDonald is one of the murderers who most repels me. If he now regrets the whole thing and wants to go back to square one, TOUGH. It gives me great pleasure to think that he is in prison, and that he currently can't get out. GOOD.
