I so hope she runs and loses the gubernatorial primary to Perry in 2006. Then we could get a real Republican in that Senate seat.

KBH votes conservative about 95% of the time. We lose her on abortion and women in the military issues.

I hope she runs and beats the heck out of RINO Perry. She will do less damage in the State House on the two issues we disagree on and Perry is a fool. Your hope of getting a "real" Republican in the seat will be tested by those lining up to run. None will be as conservative as she has been.

If she runs and loses we need to get Don Evans down here to run for Senate. I'm calling KBH as soon as I get off this computer, and I don't give a sh*t she tried to cover this with the condemning of that other judge.

I hear you on getting a more conservative senator, but why would you want her to lose to Perry? He's the biggest RINO officeholder in our state right now - he's the same guy who gave us the "hate crimes" law, a liberal Democrat appointed Secretary of State (who is now the Democrat nominee for US congress in a safe Dem seat), a liberal Democrat appointed to the State Supreme Court, a dozen or more liberal Democrats appointed to lower state district and appellate courts, and a proposed tax-hike-by-shuffling-fees-around that was fortunately scuttled in the legislative session. The sooner Rick "I switched parties so I could run for higher office in 1989" Perry gets the boot by a Republican - virtually ANY Republican in Texas - the better off we'll be.
