I really could care less about Edwards, his 15 minutes of f**kin fame has been up for 5 hours now! I wish Fox would get on with the REAL News!

Thanks for the tip. I checked her site and it doesn't seem to have links to any information. I have never listened to her show, but after looking at the pictures, I may just tune in! ;-)

Did I miss the obligatory Kerry quote?

"I was against John Edwards before I was for him."

That's what I don't get about this pick. Kerry spent months tearing this guy down. However Kerry handles this makes him a liar, which I guess is no surprise. Lying is considered a requisite qualification to be a Democrat.

Where's the RNC?

They should have an ad on the air by 6 pm saying

"the markets didn't like this announcement...the business community recognizes the Kerry - Edwards ticket is anti-growth, anti business and anti investor"

This is the ONLY time I'm glad to see the markets down.

That would be a great ad. There is a new Bush-Cheney ad using McCain and Rush reported that ABC was saying "this ad was put out today to embarrass Kerry because everyone knew he wanted McCain". See how that works? They can say every dirty, lying thing about the president and he puts out an ad using a Republican and it's dirty tricks. Sheesh.

That being said...the RNC has never defended itself vigorously. We don't need to get down and dirty, but they could have a few major press conferences talking about how the UN said they are finding Iraq's WMD all across the globe.

They could have a major press conference talking about how even the Clinton admin. knew there were ties between OBL and Saddam.

They should have more press conferences about the economy using charts, graphs, comparing GPD to the last 40 years and the unemployment which, at 5.6% compares to what Clinton's unemp. rate was when he ran for re-election and CNN said it was an "excellent" rate and would help him get re-elected.

Freepers could do a better job defending the administration than the administration does!

Well, the McCain ad "was" planned and perfectly timed. :)

I like it. We need to hit hard.

Thanks, Fraulein- copied and saved.

I would not make the mistake of dimissing this combo lightly- they provide a clear choice for those supporting left-wing agendas. Add the damage from Moore's nasty little film, and the President may have a fight on his hands.

Heck, Kamp Kerry put it out on the news before the end of last week that a decision would likely be announced today! He might as well have taken out a full page ad in the Slimes about it. It isn't only about trying to deflect attention away from Kerry saying that life begins at conception, as Rush opined on his show today. Although that might play a part, but the decision about announcing on Tuesday was already made.

I think Kerry Kamp has to gin up enthusiasm everywhere they look, pure and simple.

Did you hear Rush say that Judy Woof-woof off CNN got in such a snit about the new Bush ad that she personally called McCain to make sure he had authorized them using the footage of it? He said yes, of course.

She's lookin' for a way to raise a real stink. Rush also said that one of the PMSNBC reporterettes, Norah O'Donnald maybe, was bent out of shape about the ad.

Must be a good one...heh, heh, heh.
