Congress knows what's good for the country? If they really did, they'd abolish themselves.
Now ZOT!

Greenspan is only chairman of the board. It's the board that decides monetary policy, not Greenspan alone.

If you want to help the poor, you should be advocating the abolition of the minimum wage, 100% privatization of social security, and further reductions in taxation across the board.

Congress needs to take the power from this office and let Congress decide on what's good and bad for the country.
Congress should do whatever I want done with the country, and to heck with everyone else. That's what I always say.
No one listens to me, for some reason.

The minimum wage is basically a socialist trick to keep poor people off the first step of the ladder of success.
If the minimum wage was eliminated, an entry level employer could hire one or two more employees and initiate the most important job experience for anyone, the first job.
When someone is unable to obtain a first job because of artificially high wage scales, everyone loses.
