I went to a backyard picnic on the 4th. 50 miles from where W was speaking in West Virginia. A lady I have known for 40 years went on a 'tear' saying no church would be telling her how to cast her vote; and that even if she were personally opposed to abortion, she still did not have to vote for W but could choose Kerry. I didn't want to cause a scene at the picnic, but I am really tired of all the people who continue to rail against everything W represents!

How do other FReepers respond these days to the rants by 'friends?'

I live in NYC, I've lost count of how many people go bezerk about Bush.

The other day, while I was talking to some friends about Bush, some woman came over to ramble how evil he was.

When I told her not only was I voting for Bush, but I'd also donate, she actually started to cry.

I got a feeling we might see some acts of terrorism from leftists along with a few suicides after Bush wins in November, some of these people are so emotionally invested in this and full of such hatred, that it will be as if there entire family and loved ones have died when Bush wins.

I've got hundreds of stories from people who are just freaks about hating Bush, and have some kind of religious cultlike fervor akin to being mentally ill that shuts off rational thought and runs into the bizarre.
