The phrase "hanging is too good for him" springs to mind. Still, not bad.

Regards, Ivan

He's nothing but a low-down, double-dealing, backstabbing, larcenous perverted worm! Hanging's too good for him. Burning's too good for him! He should be torn into little bitsy pieces and buried alive!

Saddam 'very likely' to be hanged

How is he going to be Kerry's running mate if they go and do that ?

They still have Osama and Hillary to fall back on I suppose.

"You have been tried by twelve good men and true, not of your peers but as high above you as heaven is of hell, and they have said you are guilty. Time will pass and seasons will come and go. Spring with its wavin’ green grass and heaps of sweet-smellin’ flowers on every hill and in every dale. Then sultry Summer, with her shimmerin’ heat-waves on the baked horizon. And Fall, with her yeller harvest moon and the hills growin’ brown and golden under a sinkin’ sun. And finally Winter, with its bitin’, whinin’ wind, and all the land will be mantled with snow. But you won’t be here to see any of ‘em; not by a damn sight, because it’s the order of this court that you be took to the nearest tree and hanged by the neck til you’re dead, dead, dead, you olive-colored son of a billy goat."

Possibly attributable to Phantly Roy Bean, Justice of the Peace, Pecos County, Texas, USA, circa 1896

It would bolster the dignity and peace of mind for Saddam to be condemned to death in an Iraqi court.

If Iraq does get democracy and a fair court system, watch how the left will hate and condemn Iraq like they hate and condemn Israel. Anything that happens in Iraq is likely to be less than perfect if for no other reason than anything that humans do anywhere in the world is likely to be less than perfect.

The left has a double standard whereby any evil done in a communist or Islamo-fascist country is denied or excused while any failure to meet an arbitrary measure of perfection in a free country is condemned. The left is all concerned about the prisoners in Guantanimo, but they are not in the least even curious about the fate of Fidel Castro's prisoners. If women achieve legal equality in Iraq you can expect the left to go into all sorts of contortions about how equality for women in this case is somehow "disruptive" or "unnatural" and what an "unfair burden" it is for women to vote and get an education.

Hang him by his wrists and lower him foot first into one of his shredders for innocent Iraqis.

Good choice. Public hanging is my favorite for mass-murdering dictators.

I'm hoping Michael Moore will take the "Tale of Two Cities" approach, and switch places with Saddam.

When they hang him they need to leave 10 feet of slack in the rope and tie 200lbs to his feet.

How about volley stoning. Lots of Iraqis could participate. The first several volleys could be with shoes.

How about something a little more "High Tech"? Immerse him in a vat of liquid oxygen till he's frozen solid, then chuck him off the roof of the building and watch him shatter into a million pieces.

You know how all the liberals do not want the the US to have any influence in Iraq? They say the hand over is a sham. Wait till the trial. They are gonna want western judicial values there big time!!! You wait and see.

Why would they hang him, have they outlawed beheadings now in new government??? Are they trying to set more western example for Iraqi people??

Hanging might be nice, but others are quite enthusiastic about Chappaquiddick Water Torture.
