I'm sorry you didn't figure out that I considered panty play was less of a crime than beheading. To make it plain, if you were guilty of a beheading, your head would roll. If you were guilty of panty play at Abu Garuib prison, I would plant a boot in your butt so hard your face would have a constant frown. I think it is a disgrace that our troops have to suffer the humiliation that a group you desire to protect, have caused.
You forgot gun grabbers. Otherwise, rock on Brother!
Fraternity pranks are done to willing subjects who want to join a fraternity. The Iraqi prisoners weren't volunteers. One way we seek to assure decent treatment for American pows is to treat the prisoners we take humanely. It's worse than criminal to abuse prisoners, it's stupid in that it increases the risks for Americans taken prisoner. The military was already proceeding with criminal investigations of Abu Ghraib before the press ran with the story. They didn't regard this as a prank. All Rush needed to so was ask around within the military, it shouldn't be difficult for him to do so.
You are needed in Baghdad. Your evidence is needed. After General Taguba made his investigation and pointed out there were hundreds who had been held for over a year without knowledge of whether they had been combatants or not. Over two thousand were released soon afterward. I would assume that if you had been there to point out the thugs and murderers that you have no compassion for, the two thousand could have been held. Have you considered applying for a gulag commander job? No justice, no compassion, no right or wrong, you should be fabulous.
Yeah, I know that fraternity pranks go on all the time like this. Sorority sisters get raped, murdered, and pillaged every day at various educational systems. Street gangs blow the head off of competing gang members. Thousands of genocide vitims are killed in our abortion clinics every year. This is just harmless fun that should be excused by the liberal mantra, as everybody does it, why not me? Right or wrong does not matter, if, maybe, but, or perhaps takes care of having to make a judgement on anything. Everything is just fine, civilization just keeps crumbling.
I think its a disgrace that we have to hear about the Abu Garuib prison on and on and on as if there was a moral equivalence between that the the beheadings. And I usually find that those that still like to talk about it have a different agenda than supporting our troops or efforts in Iraq.
"One way we seek to assure decent treatment for American pows is to treat the prisoners we take humanely."
... and that concept has worked so well with these people, like it did with the Japanese in WWII ...
Of course it was a criminal act, but to even compare it in any way to how they already have treated our people is to make an attempt to justify the actions of the enemy.
Do you seriously believe their words that the beheadings were in retaliation to these criminal frat pranks ?
Are you attempting to raise the level of criminality of certain of our soldiers up to that of the level displayed by the leaders of the enemy ?

OK. I can' retract what I said/wrote. What is said is said. I will beg pardon for misunderstanding and let this end forever.
Dan
I don't know the give and take of diplomacy. Why don't you take your idols with their panties, dog collars, and anal probes to see if you can meet with Al-Jauzeiri and get all this misunderstanding cleared up? All you have to lose is your head and you haven't been using it lately, anyway.
Look I just don't give a damn.
