Very interesting article! Good reporting from the NYT, of all places! Does anybody know anything about the reporter? He's observant and writes well (which is a real shocker nowadays).
John Burns is the best of the NYT--He was the one who blew the whistle on how the MSM was bought off by Saddam with (CNN) permission to run a news bureau there; threats to reporters and staff; etc..He is a man of principle and a hell of a good writer.
