I'd be really embarrassed to think that I could be influenced, right or left, by a movie.

I have a heck of a lot more pride and brainpower than to watch images on a movie screen and then be swayed either way.

If you can't think critically, you become just another pawn and that is what Michael Moore has done, create pawns who are unable to think.

It makes me angry when I know that someone is appealing to me, right or left, on an emotional level rather than intellectual one.

As for those who see this movie and are ready to run out and burn President Bush in effigy (or otherwise), I am sorry for you.

Pawns litter the soil of history.

"...create pawns who are unable to think..."

If a voter can't keep up with the name of the VEEP, the House Speaker, and the senate majority leader, that person is not informed enough to vote. I think a basic questionnaire should be asked of every voter. People must attend a class room and pass a test with a 100% score. THE QUESTIONS MUST BE NON-CONTROVERSIAL. There should be seven historic questions:

"Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?"

"When was the Declaration of Independence ratified?"

"Who was the first president of the US?

"Who was the President of the Union during the Civil War?"

"What attack brought England and France into World War II?"

[Eight multiple choice answers.]

"What attack brought the US into World War II?"

[Eight multiple choice answers.]

Then there should be seven current questions, nothing but the names of elected leaders:

"Who is the current governor of your state?"

"Who was the last elected senator of your state?"

"Who is the other elected senator of your state?"

"Who is the President of the US?"

... Vice President ...

... House Speaker...

... Senate Majority Leader ...

The questions can be found prior to the annual test. Cheating on this test results in federal prosecution and a month in a federal prison.

People need not take this test.

People too mentally challenged to pass this test are unfit to vote. People unwilling to be even that informed are unfit to vote. No more chickens brainlessly pecking at touch screens. LET THE RATS DEFEND THE RIGHT OF STUPID AND/OR IGNORANT PEOPLE TO VOTE.
