I havent heard scott but have heard charlie a'court, and yes I love the blues. It stands the test of time just as the bluegrass stuff does.
I'll try to upload some Scott Holt by next weekend. He's got a hot version of "Crosstown Traffic" with Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox and some tunes with Double Trouble as well. Meanwhile ... I found Charlie's "Color Me Gone".
COLOR ME GONE
Charlie A'Court
Well its cold tonight,
And the day is gone.
Wastin' time,
So I'm movin' on.
Don't cry now baby,
Everything is gonna be alright
Don'tlie to me baby,
You know I'm leavin'
Color me gone.
Color me gone.
Well we talked it over,
So many times before.
Lies and excuses,
I can't take anymore
You had my heart baby
And you done me wrong.
What's done is done,
I'm movin' on, oh
Color me gone.
Color me gone.
Color me gone.
Color me gone.
The train is leavin'
It's goin' outta town
I'll be headin' out,
And come crashin' down.
You had your chance baby
But you turned away.
Don't matter now darlin'
What's done is done,
Color me gone.
Color me gone.
So long,
Color me gone.
You can color me gone.
I'm leavin' you baby,
Color me gone.
