Well, well, a new face and name!
Welcome to the Canteen, Drumbo!!!
I see you've already met some of The Canteen Galz? Word of advice: they love to dance, and they won't take "Maybe" for an answer....

Wow, Chieftain, thanks for sharing your great letter. Good to see that it got published and that others will see the truth about that despicable propaganda piece of MMoore's. And thank you for your service to America.

Doing well. The sun is making an attempt to peek thru the overcast. I've started 3 projects and completed none. Surprise, surprise. I have finally sealed my boxes. Now comes TAPE! And then the snail mail office. How's Massachusetts treating you today? I'm looking forward to my annual "pulling up a chair for the Boston Pops 4th" tomorrow.

Hiya Sarge - (my best USN Salute to you Sir).
I'm not really new, just a shy lurker-lou that love's his "Canteen", "A Day in the Life of President Bush" and about everything else about FreeRepublic ... even the soreheads. They may be pitifully Zotable ninnys, but they are OUR pitifully Zotable ninnys.
I'll be happy to dance til I drop if the ladies don't mind a bit of greese paint on their duds, but I do fall down a lot - mind the size 23 clown shoes and forgive my appearance and the smell of gunpowder - getting fired out of a cannon tends to ruffle my tux.

Hey there, Sarge! ((HUGS)) Ummm...a little sleep. The poor elderly dog is having some neurological problems. He got me up after a couple hours sleep, but we couldn't get outside quick enough. Poor thing was so embarrassed. So I'm operating on only a couple hours. Are you surprised? LOL! Did you get a good night's sleep? Are all the kids out for the day?
Is he cute or what?
