Little River Band was really popular in the 70's. Lady was one of their biggest hits.

I have been writing short stories, poetry, and one episode of "Star Trek: Voyager", which was considered, but never aired.

I started in 1995, to write a novel - a work of sci-fi/fantasy. I've had good advice from an ameteur editor, who has made the manu bleed red ink from all the corrections, but it's looking better. I've become a better writer for it.

I've been working with it, on and off, as a pasttime. I really have no real hope of publishing it: three submissions all said variations of the same thing: "the market is saturated".

So, I write for me, and no one else - except for the poetry. That, I share here on FR, and a few other places, and the comments have been very favorable.

I know I'm an excellent writer; my writing style has been called Tolkien-esque, which I hold as a high compliment.

Some. Some. Some. (Not enough of any of 'em so far. But as for the first two, the night's still young.) ;)

I need to find food, but anything that sounds good sounds like too much work. So I think I'm just gonna go nuke something.

So.....I'm freeping, listening to this wonderful music and it hit me that I am SO PROUD to be a conservative American.

Can any of you imagine how icky this holiday must be for the libs? They HATE this country. They hate everything it stands/stood for. They'll even hate the music.

So.....!!!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!

Science Fiction is extremely hard to break into. I like it but am passionate about soldiers and politics. So, I put a book together than included both of those. Horror is probably the hardest thing to break into print with a big name publisher. That's probably why it took Stephen King ten years.

I am still in search for that big name publisher but as these books sell, then that comes closer and closer. Anyway, I'm going to hit the bed. Gotta get up early in the morning. I really appreciate your wonderful comments. Keep up your writing and service to your country. It makes your writing all the more worth it.

Reminiscing? (Sorry if mis-spelled)
(Dancing in The Dark?)
Anywhoo, a beautiful song...
Can you help?
LOL
