Swedish pastor sentenced to one month's jail for offending homosexuals

Stockholm (ENI). A Swedish court has sentenced a pastor belonging to the Pentecostal movement in Sweden, Ake Green, to a month in prison, under a law against incitement, after he was found guilty of having offended homosexuals in a sermon.

Soren Andersson, the president of the Swedish federation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights (RFSL), said on hearing the sentence that religious freedom could never be used as a reason to offend people. "Therefore," he told journalists, "I cannot regard the sentence as an act of interference with freedom of religion."

During a sermon in 2003, Green described homosexuality as "abnormal, a horrible cancerous tumour in the body of society".

Some day people will figure out why a few of us would like to establish a new nation unequivocally based on Christian principles and not subject to liberal judicial revisionism.

Religious people cannot be protected from offense because of separation of church and state, unless they are religious liberals, of course. White people cannot be protected because they are the oppressive group. Same for men unless they THINK they are female, are gay or are otherwise liberal thinking. The deal is, you must THINK correctly if you want protection -- kind of like the thought mafia.

He's right on target.

I don't agree. I am not a religious person, and I regard homosexuality as an abnormality that will continue to occur in human beings as long as we are around. I think a young person with yearnings in that direction would be wise to try straight life first. In the meantime they shouldn't overdose on shame.

While I believe religions are free to preach that homosexuality is a vile sin or whatever, I favor tolerance. Anyone who attacks someone on the basis of their real or apparent homosexuality, of course, has committed assault. I am adamantly opposed to government creating gay marriage.

I think a civil war sometime in the next 100 years is all but inevitable, unless the right-wing decides to give up with a whimper, because the left-wing won't.

I understand what the word incitement means. It seems to me that you would have to torture the meaning of incitement, if this sermon was delivered to his congregation inside a house of worship. If he were preaching his sermon on the street corner during a gay rights parade, then I could understand the application of incitement.

I think it isn't incitement unless he claims that homos are an abomination and a wall should be made to fall on them, as the Q'uran teaches. Issuing a fatwa calling for death to faggots is a hate crime. Issuing a fatwa calling for death to infidels is protected speech.

Homosexual Agenda Ping + Bad News from Sweden. Compare this with the article I just pung out -

Mississippi high court says `gay' remarks by judge protected by First Amendment
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1164473/posts

Lucky we live in America. But we should become invigorated to fight the radical* "gay" agenda with more strength, courage, and determination or hate crimes (already passed the Senate) will be followed by hate-speech, which is non-different than hate-thought.

Which will meant the end of the Republic. Might as well surrender to France and get it over with at that point.

Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

*Remind me again how the vast majority of homosexuals are just like you and me, wear beige and grey, don't have rainbow stickers on their cars, never attend "Gay Pride Parades" dressed in leather jockstraps and feather boas, have no interest in young teens, and don't want "gay marriage", and vote Republican, except that their monogamous life long sex partner is of the same sex.

So, now a pastor, preacher, imam, rabbi, priest or reverand cannot say anything IN HIS PLACE OF WORSHIP in Sweden that would offend anyone?

Food for thought here. I think you are right about this, except for one. The imam will be able to say anything he wants, the rest will not. Make sense to you?

Do you all really think this will happen here or will there be Civil War II first?

While I absoutely hate violence of any kind, I keep wondering the same thing. How long can the left wing, liberal, socialist, pinko commie rat bast---- keep pushing before good people start to push back?

this is beyond a worry about hate crimes; this is statist
regulation of religion. I'll bet if a millionaire drug
cartel kingpin with $150M bucks in a Swiss bank account
said it, it would be OK.

We'll be putting ministers in jail here before long, in part thanks to my "Republican" senator and his "hate crimes" bill.

if we had lost WWII there would be no homosexuals in Europe at all. A fact the eurorats should remember sometime. Especially the gay ones.

Not if you read "The Pink Swatiska" by Abrams and Lively. The Nazi inner circle were a bunch of homosexual perverts--Goering, Rohm, even Hitler himself.

If the Nazi's had won, you'd have seen the flowering of a new Spartan [World] State, with the Der Wanderfogel (youth scouting organization) as a recruitment vehicle for the SS. Unlike our own Boy Scouts which refuses pederasts positions of oversight in the organzation, homosexuality would be a requirement into to the Nazi inner circle.

The Thought Police are in Sweden. How long before they arrive on our shores?

They are already here....They just are not fully mandated yet.

So when homosexual use the word "breeder", the pejorative for heterosexual people, will they now be arrested for being offnesive?

If a sweedish homosexual organization has published the "homosexual agenda" (the one that has been printed here with referenses to doing away with age of consent and demonizing opposition to homosexuals) will their publishers be prosecuted?

Religious groups should start filing complaints for offensive homosexuals.
