Militants sister found dead in Tral

TRAL, July 1: Police today recovered the decomposed skeleton of a woman in the hilly terrain of Tral. Twenty-two-year-old woman, who happened to be the sister of an active militant, had been missing since the day she had been kidnapped by suspected militants on account of her love affair with a local school-teacher in March this year.
Official sources said that with the help of her wrist watch and the slippers, the woman was identified as Shareefa D/o Abdul Gani Bhat R/o Tral Payeen. She had been missing from her home since March this year. Sources said that the skeleton was recovered from Kandwar forest area.
Sources said that Shareefa was the sister of a category "A" militant Khursheed Pal. According to these sources, Shareefa had developed a love affair with a private school-teacher, namely Showkat Ahmed Kar S/o Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Kar. In March last, unidentified militants kidnapped Kar as well as Shareefa from their respective houses.
Next morning, Kars beheaded body was recovered from a deserted spot. He had been butchered by his kidnappers. With the recovery of Shareefas body today, officials believe that the young woman had also been killed by the militants on the same day. However, she had not been spotted anywhere, dead or alive in the last three months.
