I surely hope it wasn't suicide. He's been in pretty dire straits lately and just yesterday it was revealed he's $20 million in debt, living alone, and receiving government benefits. He had hidden his Oscars to keep them from being taken in a credit judgment.

(If there were no problems, politicians would have to invent them... wait, they already do.)

I just saw a piece on TV about him being in court recently because of financial problems.

Hard to believe. Didn't he hate the award? He sent an American Indian, Princess Little Feather or something, to collect one of them for him because he would not attend the ceremony? Turned out she was not even an Indian. He was protesting the treaty arrangements for some tribe or some other Indian issue at the time. I don't think he could have given a damn about the award he would not even pick up for himself and joked about most of the time. He didn't care much for Hollywood either and called it a 'cultural boneyard'. Not far wrong there though.

20 million in debt? Proves how stupid these liberal actors are. They're like children running with scissors. Dumb and dumber. No wonder actors need so many handlers, accountants, managers, agents, PR hacks, psychophant courtiers.
