Damn. It seems that every other week or so, somebody famous or well-known dies. What the heck is going on? When will this madness stop?

When will this madness stop?

There's a Peace Protester who marches up and down the main street in my town during Rush Hour with a sign that says "Nobody should Ever Die".

Nice idea, but I see some glitches with it ...

Yes, we could soon run out of famous people.

We're getting older. The generations before us thought the same thing as they aged. When will it stop? When we take our place among the dead...

That generation is slowly passing away; we're next.

And it seems like every couple of weeks or months somebody in my family or somebody I know is having a kid. And it seems like these young people now days have their own idea of who the talented ones are. And soon all the Brandos, Sinatras and Jimmy Stewarts will be dead to be replaced by the Madonnas, J-Los and Paintflecks. Not much of a forecast, eh?

They're all getting old. The great icons from the mid 20th, that is.

I hate to tell you this, Sam, but it means we're moving into the old side of life.
