If it's Hillary, Kerry can kiss any hopes he had in the South good-bye.

If it is the Wicked Witch of the West Wing, Jean Francois better keep that Kevlar vest handy.

If it's Hillary, the media will focus on her, not on Kerry, during whole the campaign.

"When you factor in a president down in the 40s of approval, and a candidate that many people claim they don't know much about, there is no way we should be losing Michigan and Pennsylvania. But we are," says the Kerry adviser.

Troubling: Bush down big in Michigan (SUSA)

Attributable to different polls or to "unnamed source" as advisor to Kerry? What gives?

Sen. Clinton said, "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

If it's Hillary then both Clintons will be campaigning and the media will make it look as if Bill Clinton is running again for President - Kerry will be lost in the noise.

That's what McCauliffe wants because Kerry is not going to win this on his own merits, he has too many negatives including zero charisma.

I think Kerry started off playing the hype, just like he did with McCain. But he might paint himself into a corner if his supposed first choice (McCain) turns him down and after teasing the Clinton worshippers with Hillary, he ends up with someone as bland as Edwards or Gephart. Will that push the HRC people toward the Green party?

Why doesn`t he announce it on July 4th, that way we will know if July 4th could possibly be turned into "Return to tyranny day".

I'd heard a rumor that Kerry was going to choose a closeted lesbian communist shrew to be his running mate. So it couldn't be Hillary.

This date is probably a ruse. Remember, the libs are paranoid that somehow the Bush administration will rain on their announcement by overshadowing news. I think the Bush administration needs to make their worst fears a reality.
