July 2, 2004 -- THE "Today" show king of the morning TV shows inexplicably neglected yesterday to go live to Baghdad to show Saddam Hussein's historic court appearance.While the rest of the news shows were showing a video feed of Saddam around 8:30 a.m., NBC's morning powerhouse was instead running a feature about Olympic badminton.
Video of the defiant dictator, who was officially charged with genocide and crimes against humanity, was ignored by "Today" until around 9 a.m. well after the rest of the networks had aired it.
"It was a mistake. If we could do it all over again we would do it differently," a "Today" spokeswoman said.

This is their bias coming back to hit them in their wallets, and SOMEBODY is going to get a reprimand, wonder who?
