What a spectacular fireworks show, that is just amazing!

Thank you. (Don't tell anyone, but it is sort of a warmed over re-run of the fireworks display I posted two years ago. I just didn't have time to do new one.......but fireworks are fireworks, right? LOL)

Am so happy to have you back with us here at FreeRepublic Mama Bear. Have to admit I was was hoping you would love the South so much that you would decide to stay.

I am happy to be back! Aqua, I fell in love with Virginia and North and South Carolina! If you've ever been to "golden" California, especially the central valley, you know that we don't have lush green trees and vegetation everywhere. California is beautiful in it's own way, but I enjoyed so much the green lush landscape back east. Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Mountains was just beautiful. Thick forests and breathtaking vistas! We picked a perfect destination for our vacation. :-)

Saw where you also went down to Charleston. That's not too far from me but we always seem to go the beach in Florida whenever we head south. Really hope to make it down there this coming springtime, haven't been there in over 30 years. The green foliage in this area is very addictive although it can cause alot of hay fever symptoms.
Have never been to California, never been further west than Tulsa Okla. where I'm from. My family always went south on vacation where my mom's family lived, then eventually moved to the south when I was 11. Hope to see the West one of these days.
