Moore's film is dying on the vine, there will be no 250 million or that value in propaganda either.

For many, I think this movie disgusts them and helps them hate the left and vote for Bush.

Only those that want to believe his BS will believe it. Those that know the difference between fact and fiction will not be swayed ... more likely they will be insulted. At any rate it is the very young voter who is most likely to be influended by Moore's antics and that is truly a shame.

I sorta like this review: http://www.imdb.com/reviews/0361596

From one perspective I must salute Mike Moore for providing another product that will be useful to those who study film.

Those of us who are Babylon 5 fans may recall the "Illusion of Truth" Babylon 5 episode that did an outstanding job of documenting how "truth" might not always be ethical truth ... remember that Dan Randall (the b5 ISN news reporter) was very truthful ... he just strung the facts together in an unethically truthful way

From "Illusion of Truth" [ic24.net] plot summary (spoiler warning)

From a second "Illusion of Truth" [visi.com] plot summary (spoiler warning)

From a thrid "Illusion of Truth" [sadgeezer.com] plot summary (spoiler warning)

And finally a fourth "Illusion of Truth" [midwinter.com] plot summary (minor spoiler warning)

I expect that someone with greater resources (i.e. Mac G5 Video Studio, bootleg copy of F911, skill) could edit F911 in a manner that would preserve the original F911 content & presentation while injecting the truth that Mike Moore omitted using some Wayne & Garth clones to narrate ... needs to be a comedy documentary

BTW, let us not say Mike Moore "lies" let us say that he "omits"

For example, F911 truthfully quote Condi Rice

Oh, indeed there is a tie between Iraq and what happened on 9/11 ...
[begin omitting here]
... It’s not that Saddam Hussein was somehow himself and his regime involved in 9/11, but, if you think about what caused 9/11, it is the rise of ideologies of hatred that lead people to drive airplanes into buildings in New York.
Kinda changes the context ;-);-);-)

In NewsMax Magazine’s June cover story, “The Media War On Bush,” we detailed the $2 billion – our estimate – that will be spent with “in kind” media coverage to defeat Bush this November.

I guess that Campaign Finance Reform was only meant to stifle Republicans and conservatives.

(sigh)

While Moore wants to place all Al Qaida threats on President Bush, why doesn't he really research root causes of the War on Terrorism? Here are a couple links to must read causes.

It takes a definite genius to be able to manipulate well-educated people.

Kinda like hitler?

They cheered in the audience?

OK. I'm SERIESLY thinking about going to this tripe, watching it, and if they cheer, stand up and challenge any one of them to debate me on ANY item MOOoore brought up in the movie. Like a big town hall meeting. I'd say something like, "I challenge any one of you to ask me a question about MOO's claims and I'll nuke it right here and now."

It's almost laughably upsetting that people are actually BUYING into this fictional joke.

"It was a touching moment, especially for anyone who is a Christian. But one wonders why Moore would use that footage, because he is like a lot of other liberal elitists who don’t exactly have a history of attending Billy Graham crusades. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if his next documentary is about “Jesus Freaks.”

I stumbled on this about his early years and Christianity (note his portrayal of what happened to Christ and how he manipulated the Crucifixion):

http://www.faqs.org/faqs/celebrities/michael-moore-faq/part1/

In 1954, Michael Moore was born in Davison, Michigan, a suburb
of Flint, to an Irish Catholic family of laborers. At 14, Moore,
impressed by the Berrigans, joined a diocesan seminary.
But a year later, he was asked to leave. Moore cited girls as the
main proponent. He was forced to return to Davison High School,
where he became a star of the school debate team, a student-
government organizer and even authored a school play.

"It was a religious theme and it ended when Christ comes down
off the cross and is nailed back up. The people who nailed Christ
back up were modeled on people in my town. They could recognize
themselves."

The Moore film raked in over $20 million on its opening day.

This is an embarrassingly gross error on Ruddy's part.

A close friend of mine is a hard-core Dem. She saw it. Said I'd hate it. (LOL). Said Moore makes liberals look loony and that she hopes Bush wins(!!!). I don't buy much in this article.
