Saddam, in a fashional burst of hubris, declares he is still president of Iraq, that the trial is theatre, and that the real war criminal is George W. Bush.
So I guess Saddam watched Farenheit 9/11 too, huh?

Since America is typically represented by an eagle, Saddam and Bin Laden should have read up on their Muslim passages... The following verse is from the Quran (the Islamic concoction from Mohammed)
Sura (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
Note the verse number!!!!!

That's the first time I have ever seen the AP put a disclaimer of "Cleared by the U.S. Military" on any picture.
Methinks it's because they want to undermine the Iraqi Courts, and put an American face on the proceedings we saw today

Pity the post was removed. Why is was, escapes me. The link to the video was valuable, because the video was brilliant. It had this young man interviewing folks that bought Clinton's book slowly setting them up, in a low key and friendly way. At then T the end, he asked what they thought Clinton accomplished of which they were proud, after defanging the economy thingie after mentioning the stock market tank on Clinton's watch. It was agitprop, from the Right fork, and very good indeed.

If you are referring to the post with the Clinton photograph as a general, that was a picture used by The Onion website, which they have asked us not to post anything from there. It's on the list of "do not post" sites Mr. Robinson has made for us not to use.
