By Andy Shaw July 1, 2004 Thousands of people lined up on the streets outside Barbara's Books to meet former President Bill Clinton-and buy his book. Clinton signed more than 1,000 copies before leaving for fundraisers.
Congressman Danny Davis reminisced with Bill Clinton about their boyhoods in rural Arkansas at the former president's book signing in Chicago.
"Hope was a big town. We lived in the suburbs," said U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, (D) Chicago. "I tell you, it's great. I think the response that people are continuing to have all over America just simply represents how much he has meant not only to this country but how much he has meant to the world."
Bill Clinton's always been popular in Chicago. Even today-- three years out of officehe attracted the largest crowd the city's ever seen at a book signing. The line is half a mile long. First in line were two women from Chicago who arrived yesterday afternoon.
"Clinton was a great president and we're hoping that maybe if we're in the front of the line we'll actually get to talk to him," said Ginger Stoker, first in line.
"I think we need more hope so if we could bring President Clinton back I would in a heartbeat," said Spence Medford.
"Then there is a rising appreciation of the effectiveness of eight years of president Bill Clinton," said Rev. Jesse Jackson at a Rainbow-PUSH conference. Clinton says John Kerry should be attacking president bush's priority of tax cuts for the wealthy instead of programs for the poor.
"They're paying for my tax cut by kicking 3,004 kids out of their after-school programs. This is unbelievable this would be done. It is wrong. It's terrible economics," said Clinton.
Bill Clinton also called the Supreme Court decision giving the 2000 election to George W. Bush one of the "five worst decisions in U.S. Supreme Court history." Clinton stays in Chicago for two fundraisers tonight, one for democratic senate candidate Barack Obama, one for the democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.
Klintoon fact check: "They're paying for my tax cut by kicking 3,004 kids out of their after-school programs. This is unbelievable this would be done. It is wrong. It's terrible economics," said Clinton. Sources, Bubba?
The nation's only elected impeached president and the back of Congressman Danny Davis' head at Barbara's Bookstore (LOLJ has been to other Barbara's, they have an extensive Noam Chomsky section).
Thousands showed up, but Bubba only signed "more than 1,000 copies?"
Well, Bubba, you and your Hollowwood friends have millions and billions to burn. Put your money where your "heart" is.
How could anyone want the autograph of a rapist?
Rent-a-mob.
Two sad old men of miserable moral reputation trying to bolster one another's legacies. How absolutely pitiful.

PT Barnum said : "There's sucker born every minute"....and two to take him....
Congressman Davis paying homage to the "Massuh".

There are plenty of other Posts you can read, probably some of them are unintelligible to you too, but skip around a bit I am sure you can find something you can understand.
