A pervert who broke into two Long Island homes and sexually assaulted sleeping women was busted after one victim identified him as a carpenter who had worked on her home, cops said yesterday.
Police believe the suspect, Antonio Escobar, 31, is an illegal alien who has been getting day-labor jobs with construction crews.
One of the victims managed to fight him off, the other, whose 5-month old baby was in the room, was raped, cops said.
'snip'
"The victims husband had just left for work,"...."This guy climbed into bed with with her. He threatened to kill her and her small child who was sleeping nearby."

LMFAO...excellent
My wife was raped 18 years ago in a similiar situation. The difference is that the guy she hired to mow the lawn wasn't an illegal immigrant, or even an immigrant. Other than that, identical situation. So, in essence I think you blaming it on the immigration status of the rapist is just so much bravo sierra.
;;Escobar, who lives in Greenlawn with his wife
;Let's stipulate that he wasn't a man desperate for sex.
Thats not always a foregone conclusion based on the above facts.
Not that it matters to the crime at hand though.
An illegal alien? I would be shocked if he wasn't...
ping
See also the case of that abducted girl out in Utah (?). Maybe it's worth hiring known, local workers.
Carpenter Antonio Escobar, an illegal alien...he's only doing the jobs Americans won't do, and raping innocent women in the process. Folks, violent crime has skyrocketed because of the massive influx of illegals, and they are th ones committing most of them. They are committing crimes way out of proportion to their numbers vis-a-vis American citizens. This has gone way, way too far. Illegals, especially Mexicans and Latin Americans, are engaged in a natiowide crime spree. Want to know an obscenity? The government of Mexico ENCOURAGES the murder of Americans by Mexicans in America simply by its policy of not extraditing any criminals back to the U.S. if thet are subject to the death penatly of life imprisonment. Thus, since so many of these criminals commit their crimes and then flee back to Mexico, they are home scot free, because Mexico won't arrest them. Mexico IS NOT America's friend! Mexico is a vile cancer on the American body politic.
"Waste of rope, and an insult to a noble tree. Shoot him in the back of the head and toss him over the border, let the Mexicans bury him.."
Hmmmmm....
The Post evidently has the fortitude to call things by their proper names!
Oh, most definitely. On Monday, for example, when the Slimes' front page was calling the kidnappers of troops in Iraq "militants" and "insurgents", the Post's front page called them "thugs" and "bloodthirsty terrorists". The Post makes me happy.
"If one doesn't see the escalation in crimes by hispanics in the last year then one is a fool or George Bush's advisor."
There has been a virtual explosion of crimes committed by hispanics. Los Angeles is a war zone, and the majority of crimes committed in Chicago are committed by hispanics, whose numbers are the largest in the country next to Los Angeles. It is epidemic.
Is there still such a thing as an illegal?

While we're on the topic, I must admit I found this post (from yesterday) rather disturbing (added emphasis mine):
Border Patrol agents in Douglas apprehended two convicted sex offenders Wednesday.
At about noon Manuel Guzman Vasquez, 31, of El Salvador, was caught by agents about 10 miles east of the Douglas Port of Entry, said Andy Adame, a spokesman for the Border Patrol's Tucson sector. Guzman Vasquez was processed through IAFIS, the patrol's fingerprint identification system and it identified him as a sex offender who had served a three-year sentence in Massachusetts, Adame said. Guzman Vasquez was charged with the rape of a child. In 1999 he was formally deported to El Salvador. He is now being charged with the illegal re-entry of an aggravated felon, Adame said.
More than six hours later agents caught another sex offender about 1.5 miles east of the Douglas Port of Entry. Victor Manuel Martinez, 42, of Honduras, was also identified by IAFIS as a sex offender. He had been arrested in Arlington, VA, in 2000 for taking indecent liberties with a child, Adame said. He served a five-year sentence before he was deported to Honduras in late 2002. He too is being charged with illegal re-entry of an aggravated felon.

CJ, we are most certainly enraged by rape and murder. But the fact remains that illegals from Mexico and Latin America are committing such crimes way out of proportion to their numbers. If the victim were my sister or one of my nieces (I have no daughters), I guarantee the perp would never see the evening sun set in the west.
Wonder if the victims could go after the illegal employers for "sponsoring" this alien laborer? Legal theory--illegal immigrants are already lawbreakers, employers aid and abet, there's reason to believe that one law broken will lead to other laws being broken...
Exactly what I was thinking. Sometimes people find themselves unwittingly part of the lawbreaking process--you hire a cement contractor, then visit the site only to see what you strongly suspect (but can't exactly prove) are illegals. You can stop doing business with the contractor, you can turn him in to the authorites (who will do nothing!!)...
.....just raping women that Americans are too lazy to rape.
Can we please sign this guy up for the first to get Amnesty, or at least put him on the fast track to getting a green card?
But the billboards that advertise for ambulance chasers all have "se habla espanol"-- they can go after you, but you can't go after the illegals.
...but first, lets get the Abu Grahab prison guard clan together for a reunion, including unlimited Glow Sticks, to meet this fellow.
