Today in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, President Bush attended the swearing in ceremony of the new representative of the United States to the United Nations, Senator John Danforth. Later in the East Room of the White House, he addressed those attending a reception commemorating the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights bill into law in 1964.

I guarantee that few Presidents in our history (if any) have loved people equally like this President, and yet he will (most likely) get only a 10th of the African-American vote.

It's just sad that the propaganda keeps being swallowed by so many. I don't know what the answer is to getting the truth out......

I was listening to the Sean Hannity Show on the radio with Col. Oliver North subbing for Sean.

He had a caller from ohio who had a son over in Iraq. (he's home now) I was wondering if that was you?

He just spoke to a group on his experiences in Iraq, and got a semi-nasty question from someone on the political left, and he handled it like a PRO.

We are so proud of him!!

Well Ollie was aksing people to call in and tell what thier thought are about Independance Day and to send a message to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan but especially Iraq because Ollie was going over there and wanted to be able to answer some of the questiong the troops ask him about what is being said in America.

Well the Ohio caller just said how proud she was of not only her son but all who put thier lives on the line for the very things we are about to celebrate this Independance Day.

She also said some kind words about our Pesident.

It was actually a nice lefty, but she got riled because what he was saying didn't mesh with her ideology.

She asked him (paraphrasing) if he had ever thought about the fact that there were other brutal dictators in the world and that Saddam was deposed just for oil. It was a typically stupid comment coming from an otherwise intelligent person.

He was so calm and mature though, and answered her with facts and logic. You would have been PROUD.

Well, Ohioans are particularly bright and patriotic people, so I'm not at all surprised. :o)
