Howard Stern is not really anti-America, especially when compared to Michael Moore. He just has a vendetta with the FCC and the Bush administration for the fines levied on his network for his show's alleged obscenity.

If you ask me disagreement day (today) on Michael Medveds show is top notch entertainment. Nothing funnier than listening to liberals rant untill they realize they're ranting and hang up.

The decision to hire Stern was almost a no-brainer, Young said.
Probably the most truthful thing ever to come out of Mr Young's mouth in a while.

Howard, you don't know the first thing about culture. You're a greasy little creep, an impressario of vulgarity, bad taste, and obscenity.

Kinda funny.....
I tried to listen to Howard Stern before all this stuff started...I couldn't. It is childish, stupid, repetitive nonsense that only the immature individuals that he panders too will listen too.
Make your show political please Howard.....make people mad....at you for being a nasty dirty smelly and hairy guy saying things that have no meaning and blasting the FCC for actually enforcing the rules on you. HAHA!!!

You know, I actually have nothing against Stern in particular. I used to listen to him quite regularly, in fact.
I guess I just hit a point in my life where lesbians, midgets and sexually perverted jokes weren't as funny as they used to be.
Should Stern still be allowed to be on the air? Sure, why not? But I hate to think that he is brain-washing his "minions" into voting against W. because he was nabbed for some stuff that he shouldn't having been doing in the first place. Free speach is one thing, but some of the stuff on his show does go too far.

I used to enjoy listening to Stern when he was in Detroit in the late 70s. The show was nothing like the pre-pubescent freak show that it is nowadays.
Ironically, he was out in an abrupt format change, the station he was working at switching over to country. It was amazing hearing him playing straight DJ to country songs - he sounded sedated and lobotomized. Didn't last long before he left the area.

To pave the way for Stern and the new format, all nine WBZZ disc jockeys were fired
"This will teach the FCC a lesson," Stern said.
Yea Howard, you sure showed FCC a thing or two.

The station will feature an aggressive attitude targeting Stern's core audience, largely adult males.
