This is unfair....to Davis. While he wanted to push our spending debt back with bonds too as a "fix", at least it took a revolt of the taxpayers to get him to push for drivers licenses for illegals, while (R)nold has did a 180 for SB1160 after it can be made "secure" whatever that has to do with it.

Arnold starting changing his tune once the votes were counted, then the pandering to the hispanic lobby started. Sadly, voters in California went for the star power of Arnold over the common sense of McClintock.

I thought CA was out of junk bond status now?

Part of the bubble we all felt after the ABD (Anybody But Davis) plan was implemented. Wall Street got a bounce by it and has given us more credit, for now...

However joyous having a movie star taking over may make people feel, how he governs is eventually going to force them to think, or rethink about his competence;

Indeed, the structure of each budget is remarkably similar, said Fred Silva, an analyst with the non-partisan Public Policy Institute of California. ``If you don't want to cut spending or raise taxes, the choices are borrow, keep spending flat and move expenditures down the road.'' That deferral strategy -- transparent in deals Schwarzenegger has cut with leaders of local government, public schools, higher education and, most recently, state employee unions -- irks Democrats and Republicans who worry about the long-term effects. In each major deal the governor has cut, he has traded savings now for state payments in the future.

Damn the luck, eh? The Titanic didn't turn on a dime, so let's shoot the captain.

Yeah! We could've had a high-quality new tire, not just another temporary patch. You're still with us Tom. Now that the recall process is well established, we may need it, and you, yet again.

When the captain is steering your ship into an iceberg, somebody needs to grip the wheel and steer a new course. Arnie took the wheel and stayed the course the previous captain set.

Interesting choice of words, more true than you realize, although for much more complicated reasons than you understand.

A lot of us on here understood this months before the election. There will be no turn from this fateful sinking of (R)nold and the CA GOP will sink with him.

Are you trying to bore me, or is this just a misunderstanding?

As I told you in the FReepmail that you suddenly stopped using, your personal story various FR names is profoundly uninteresting and I couldn't possibly be less curious.

Don't go away mad, JUST GO AWAY.
