Yesterday I watched one of the talking heads state that the trial would take months, with international lawyers and all that kind of garbage, funny ,I think they believe the USA is still running things. I dont think the Iraquis even with their new government is going to be quite so gentle with these folks as the talking heads seem to believe.

Kevin Sites on MSNBC just told the world the EXACT LOCATION of this courtroom.
I hate the media.

The most transparent bit of reporting I've read in a long time from the NY Slimes Editorial Board...
The actual trials should not begin until an elected government takes power, a step planned for next January. Starting them sooner might produce political dividends for the appointed Iraqi interim government or the Bush re-election campaign. But it would not serve justice or help restore Iraq's standing in the international community.

I can't help wondering what the chat is like between Saddam and his henchmen. Something like "What the he!! were you thinking, you nut case. We had an entire country to rape and pillage, and now we are riding around in a BUS."

From FOXNews, Saddam brought to a secret location, only a handfull of journalists, not the Iraqi equivalent of OJ Trial. Pool photogs and videographers only. THe trial is likely to be at a different location, might disclose current location later, after arraignments are completed.
NOT CERTAIN when video will be released. Each defendant is thought to have been allowed 10 minutes to speak???
From David Lee Miller in Baghdad...

Fox just said they aren't allowed to disclose the location of this hearing today.......Sites and MSNBC broke the rules.
Sites even mentioned what the building looked like with sandbags to the windows....
