Though it's been ignored by the big media and was only released yesterday, the new book "Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man" by David Hardy and Jason Clarke has already skyrocketed to the top of the Amazon.com best sellers list.
Before NewsMax began featuring the blockbuster Moore expose' last weekend, sales were slow, with the Amazon ranking hovering around the 2 million mark. But by Wednesday, "MMIABFSWM" had jumped to number eight on the Amazon list.

The explosion in sales comes despite an array of anecdotal reports suggesting that employees at the big bookstore chains are pulling out all the stops to supress the Hardy-Clarke book. "I received an email from a friend in Tuscon who had called Barnes & Noble and they were told, 'We don't stock the book. You'll have to order it in It will take a week,'" Hardy told WABC Radio's Mark Levin Tuesday night.
Hours later, Hardy's friend discovered the same store actually had a shell full of "MMIABFSWM" on display.
After a week's worth of positive publicity that's turned Moore into an overnight Democratic-media darling, it's no wonder liberals are now trying desperately to keep the lid on.
Among the Hardy-Clarke revelations:
Michael Moore actually grew up in Davison, Mich., a properopus suburb of hard scrabble Flint - the working class city Moore claims as his hometown. "Davison's household income is 50 percent higher than Flint's," Hardy told Levin. "The average home value is twice that of Flint. Davison's black population is less than one percent."
These days the Democrats' working class hero lives in a $1.9 million apartment in Manhattan and summers at his $1.2 million home on Michigan's tony Torch Lake.
Hardy and Clarke disclose how the radical magazine Mother Jones fired the "arbitrary" and "suspicious" Moore; how he started his feud with his replacement, David Talbot, who later founded Salon; how Ralph Nader's organization fired Moore; how he attacked Pauline Kael, Harlan Jacobson and other prominent critics who exposed the deceits of his schlockumentaries; how he lost a lawsuit for betraying fellow lefty activist Larry Stecco in "Roger & Me," etc.
Moore, who after all graduated from high school, delights in ridiculing his countrymens poor grasp of geography. "The dumbest Brit here is smarter than the smartest American," he snickers to an audience in London. But Moore chooses not to add an important fact: young adults worldwide performed badly on the National Geographic survey he so selectively cites.
He claims that Florida wrongly disenfranchised thousands of pro-Democrat criminals in the 2000 election. "Thirty-one percent of all black men in Florida" are felons, in his paranoid fantasy world. (No wonder this limousine liberal travels in such exclusive circles.) In reality, the Miami Herald showed that Democrat-run counties violated state law and let the overwhelmingly Democrat felons vote illegally more than 2,000 votes, most of which went to Gore.
Most importantly, "Michael Moore Is a Big Fat Stupid White Man" refutes Moore's wild attempts to implicate the president in 9/11. Every American should read these chapters. They are too detailed to summarize here, but one example will demonstrate this book's importance.
As the media lionizes Moore as the Democrats' number one truth-teller, Americans who don't appreciate the con job won't want to miss the runaway bestseller of the summer, "Michael Moore is a Big Fat Stupid White Man."
Maybe they'll change the name when it goes to video this fall (something direct like "Vote Bush Out Of Office").
Mr. Bradbury IS getting interviewed in America about this controversy now. He first went on record about this last spring. I thought it was sloppy journalism that every article about the Cannes Film Festival that I saw mentioned Mr. Bradbury by name and discussed his book as being about a "totalitarian society" and NONE of them had the brains to try to get a comment from the still living author. Then again he wouldn't have given them a positive quote. Better just to hijack his work and push him into the shadows.
Clarke Calls Iraq War 'Enormous Mistake' (Dick Clarke crawls back out from under his hole)
Clarke took issue with some elements of documentary-maker Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 911." The movie depicts how the Bush administration allowed Saudi nationals and members of Osama bin Laden's family to leave the United States days after the Sept. 11 attacks. The Saudi nationals were not allowed to leave until the FBI cleared them of posing any danger or having any knowledge of Osama bin Laden's whereabouts, Clarke said."This has become a tempest in a tea pot," Clarke said. "After 911, I think the Saudis were perfectly justified ... in fearing the possibility of vigilantism against Saudis in this country. When they asked to evacuate their citizens ... I thought it was a perfectly normal request."
Clarke added that while he agrees with many things Moore stands for, making this incident a big part of the movie was "a mistake."
I have seen Mr. Bradbury quoted as calling Mr. Moore "a horrible person" and "a screwed a@@hole".
The Internet Movie Database's listing for Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361596/
I see that the moderator there REMOVED the link that indicated that F911 referenced Fahrenheit 451 (1966). Go ping them with suggestions to put it back (there are "update" links you can click on). They have also refused many of the recommended films I submitted. One look at the leftist swill "recommended" to viewers of Michael Moore Hates America shows that there is even bias on a non-political site such as that.
This is a hoot! I just called Barnes and Nobles in my town and asked the clerk if they had "Michael Moore is a Big Fat Stupid White Man" in stock.
I told him him came out yesterday and Amazon has it on its best seller list.
He had to go check and had an unpleasant tone in his voice at having to report he had it in stock and took my name to hold it for me.
CALL YOUR BARNES AND NOBLES AND BORDERS AND ASK IF THEY HAVE "MICHAEL MOORE IS A BIG FAT STUPID WHITE MAN"!
Well, to be fair, Roger Smith was one big fat target who mismanaged GM into a hideous tailspin from which it is only now recovering.
Moore was pretty shrewd in picking his first target. Of course GM probably could not have survived if it had not laid off people, so the premise of the film is a bit much. If he'd criticised GM for horrible product planning and producing cars of near-Soviet grade design and quality, I would have applauded right with him.

The IMDB listing does now at least include this comment under trivia:
"Ray Bradbury, author of Fahrenheit 451, has voiced his displeasure at Michael Moore appropriating the title of his book and films."
The moderator edited out the quote (with attribute) calling Mr. Moore a "screwed a@@hole" but at least the lefty had to read it...
The rest of the "trivia" consists of just a bunch of press releases from Mr. Moore.
Naw. It's not NewsMax per se, though I'm sure they helped. It's because the book tells the truth, no doubt. Hell, the title does.
That has got to be one of the all time best titles to call up brick and morter bookstores (which are dominated with young liberal clerks and older liberal managers).
I may have to spend tomorrow calling around town to see if I can find a store "near me" that has it in stock. If they ask me for my name so that they can hold it for me, I'll say "that won't be necessary... unless you are afraid that it will sell out before I get there...".
In Austin there was a prankster who wrote an article for a locally published zine/magazine (it was published, not photocopied). He called up a number of these stores (including the "respected" Book People) and asked the people at the desk about different upcoming signings by people like Jack Kerouac, Samuel Clemens, etc... They'd say that they "think so" but that they'd go check. He'd cut them to the quick and tell them how long ago they died and maybe what their pen names were.
well, to borrow from a caller on talk radio today, that might be a bad idea; the line will be so long and the earth so muddy he might soil himself long before.
Looks like it's time to cash in that gift certificate...
Here is another book to put on my list. Is there a book corner here on FR? I'm losing track of all the books I'd like to get someday.
I'm with it...and throwin' in a case of "the heartbreak of psoriasis" for good measure.
His arteries, are they imploding?
He's at 450, we have been noting
Blood pressure's 305...but, control the gloating
He looks just like a whale whenever he is floating
He's really the definition of self-promoting
And I tell you over and over and over again, my friend
That it won't be long till we watch Michael's explosion
He could not find truth if it bit his fanny
He makes up what he likes and pretends it is true
He is Jabba the Hut, but he isn't as dainty
Get the harpoon right now...I will shout "Thar he blew"
He's a real human slob...more slimy than The Blob
And I tell you over and over and over again, my friend
That it won't be long till we watch Michael's explosion
The fat will fly when we watch Michael's explosion
His Bowling film was filled with lying
If you believe it, you're self-denying
A traitor like this scum...yes, we should be trying
He's laughing at the bank at what fans have been buying
And even his fruits and veggies he likes deep frying
And I tell you over and over and over again, my friend
That it won't be long till we watch Michael's, explosion
He wowed 'em at Cannes, those Surrender Monkeys
In the great terror war, they are really a drag
When the going gets tough, do not count on their back-up
With just one cherry bomb, they will raise the white flag
He's real human slob...more slimy than The Blob
And I tell you over and over and over again, my friend
That it won't be long till we watch Michael's explosion
The fat will fly when we watch Michael's explosion
btt
I can hear it now: "Hey, can we all get on the same page of lies, please?!"
