The proposal is for a party, not an election. Not a Presidential campaign. Not this cycle. Not a specific time.

Re your reply. There is a talk show host in Boston, Jay Severin, who uses the word "masturbatory" to characterize such ideas where there is no realistic thought going on. Ideas are great but you know what is said about ideas and a**holes, everybody's got one and they usually stink.

It is not an idea that will change the political landscape but a movement following a strong individual with ideas that can attract more followers leading to a victorious election. The set of ideas alone will never win without a mechanism and leadership, if you will, to see it through to fruition. I suspect, you like I have had many ideas in our lives but they have passed us by because we were not of mind or means to see them through.

There could be a great party of a thousand folk with great intentions but without any influence until they can attract several thousand times as many believers. Ideas don't lead people, people do.
