Two Men Seriously Burned After Lighting Fireworks In Vehicle

Two men are being treated in the burn trauma intensive care unit of Orlando Regional Medical Center with burns on 90 percent of their body.
The victims are 23-year-old Artavis Walker and 27-year-old Antonio Robinson.
Melbourne police say the men were driving in the area of Carver Street in a Toyota Corolla while lighting fireworks. Detectives believe an ember from a cigarette or a lit firework fell on the back seat and ignited the other fireworks.
The car then caught on fire. Robinson was able to get out of the vehicle a few blocks before the car crashed into a light pole at Carver and Walker Street. Artavis Walker was unable to get out and was in the car when it crashed.
Officers say that fireworks were still shooting out of the car when they arrived on scene. The vehicle was completely destroyed.
Both men are in critical condition.

We had a teenager about ten years back collect about 50 "dud" practice bombs (white phosphorus bursting charge) from a bombing range out in the desert (Chocolate Mountain Gunnery Range), stuff 'em in his pick-'em-up truck, and start driving home.
He rolled the truck. The first few bombs went off, torched the gas tank, and the rest just kind of cooked off in the fire.
