Politicians love to boast about how far weve come since 1776. Yet sadly, we seem to have lost the love of freedom that laid the groundwork for the American Revolution.Read Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution regarding habeas corpus. Even the Founders realized that rights may need to be curtailed during times of invasion or rebellion - and al Qaeda is doing their best to invade us and attack us.

And that's the only one they specified.

Another day and another defense of the suspension of rights. Seems to be a trend forming.

Even the Founders realized that rights may need to be curtailed during times of invasion or rebellion - and al Qaeda is doing their best to invade us and attack us. Then declare war. Or declare an emergency.
Otherwise the government should stay inside the lines, and not be surprised when their fingers get chopped off for going where they do not belong.
