I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke at 2:15am to the news that Iraq's leadership had been transferred. I became fully awake very quickly! Our President was wise in seeing that the transfer happened before the June 30 deadline. God bless him!
The President always seems to be saying "Surprise, surprise, surprise" to his detractors. The early hand off does seem like a really good idea. Why didn't the brilliant reporters figure this out?
