2 militants(terrorists) slain in Algeria violence

Algiers, Algeria, Jun. 28 (UPI) -- Algerian troops killed two armed Islamic militants in an ambush east of Algiers, security sources reported Monday.

French-language daily Le Matin quoted the sources as saying the incident took place Sunday night only 35 kilometers (21 miles) east of the capital, when troops set up an ambush near the house of one of the militants.
