Let the record stand that the Old Grey Lady has made the charge that a member of the Bush Administration is the heir to Nazi Joseph Goebbels.

According to the latest inofrmation MM is a direct reciept of the generosity of the Carlyle group.

And good Lent R's Truimph of Will still stands alone as propoganda.

MM can't hold a candle, have I seen the movie, no but I have seen Canadian Bacon, so I know the Caliber of MM's work.

"It was just before "The Day After Tomorrow" sidled into some 3,400 theaters on Memorial Day weekend that John Ashcroft staged one of his elaborate doomsday performances, declaring that terrorists would "hit the United States hard" either on the Fourth of July or during the political conventions or on Election Day or whenever."

Clinton/Monica/Sudan August 20, 1998 revisted.

As Somebody who's actually read Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and seen Nazi propaganda movies these Nazi analogies are ridiculous. These NYT writers must be thinking that their readers have the following thoughts going through their minds:"Wow you know the name of the Nazi propaganda minister, that's freakin' amazing! You must be one of them egg headed historians mister."

Perhaps that is the falicy in comparing Michael Moore to Leni Riefenstahl. He shares more in common with Axis Sally and Lord Haw Haw.

His film also shares qualities with the German "documentary" The Eternal Jew.

At least he got Michael Moore right, but isn't Frank Rich one of the most obnoxious POS?

Huh? I don't understand your comment....How is Ashcroft's warning that terrorists want to hit us eihter on the 4th of July or near the elections at all similar to Clinton bombing a factory in the Sudan? This makes no sense whatsoever. In fact I am willing to bet that AShcroft is right and that we will see stepped up activities against the US exactly around the times that Ashcroft has warned of....Since when do we believe ANYTHING that Frank Rich writes?

The problem is that most of these LSD crazed nuts can vote, believe it or not.

"The drinking water at the Times must be laced with LSD. There is no connection between the real world and what Rich is writing about. If it is not LSD, then Rich habitates a parallel universe, the occupants of which are nuts."

Nuts? No, DemonRats. At least 43% of our population now belongs in that group, which also means that 43% of our population can be considered the enemy within. For anyone to actually vote for Kerry once aware of what he stands for (communism), amounts to actively supporting our nation's enemies. In fact, I'd go so far to say that anyone who actively supports the Kerry campaign should be considered a national security risk.

It's the first thing that came to mind. Kinda like saying Ashcroft is just as bad as Clinton without mentioning Clinton. It read like Ashcroft came up with false intel just to soften the blow of the movie. I paralleled it to Clinton's speech to the nation from the White House oval office timed to dominate the news on another day of testimony before the grand jury by Monica Lewinsky.
