Title says it all....Blech....Let's hope the film dies a quick death.

I wouldn't worry. Harry Potter & Dodgeball have already made their money. The only competition Moore's film (term used loosely) had was White Chicks, which American audiences seem to be willing to forget. Who can blame them, it looks vapid.
Next week Spider-Man 2 opens. Fahrenheit 9/11 will seem like it came out a month ago.
I went to see Shrek 2 instead... ;)
What makes this Breaking News?
Which just goes to show... Jesus is more popular than Michale Moore.
Umm...cause it is? After a year of hype and the totals coming in at noon it is breaking news...
Here in North Carolina, the Democrats are buying out the theaters and inviting the "loyal."
Weekends allmost over.
The media pumped it up and then to try to keep some integrity reported the lies on the day of it's release, a Friday, also the second least watched night in network news, IIRC.
Saturday night being the first.
1 weekend movie
Do we know how much it cost him to make this POS?
and white chicks gross $22 million
Could've been worse. There were some predictions being thrown around on Friday that it might do as much as $ 30 million.
The per screen average of $ 25, 000 is enormous though. White Chicks, the # 2 film, has a per screen average of $ 2, 700. The left wing nutjobs sure turned out en masse to vent their hatred. I just hope this piece of crap doesn't pass the $ 100 million mark.
At any rate it won't be # 1 for long: Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on Wednesday. Spidey has a way with defeating fat bastards: if he can take out The Kingpin, then he can take out Michael Moore. ;)
6 million production,10 million advertising
Everyone slows down to look at the car wreck and then they move on. Will be old news soon.
On triple the amount of screens
6 mil in production, 10 mil in distribution.

CAMPBELL BROWN, GUEST HOST:
BROWN: Real quickwere almost out of timebut howhowgiven how the Bush administration is reacting to the 9/11 film, which is, you know, banning their staffs from going to see it or anybody...
HITCHENS: What?
BROWN: I know. Is it the right approach?
HITCHENS: I didnt know that.
But, if so, then it would be something to add to my long list of misgivings about the Bush administration.

Is there anyway to expose this comment for the trash it is? It is all the way to the bottom of the page!
