"Guys I wonder if Uncle Ted be show up drunk at Demo convention" Seriously, Kennedy is at a stage of his alcoholism that's called 'maintenance'. That's where a percent of alcohol is required by the body to function or it'll go into shock. As such he always has alcohol in hus system, and if he was normal he'd be considered drunk. Give him him a breathalyzer when he wakes up and I guarantee he'd blow a .15 BAC.
He also has signs of another late stage disease of alcoholism - polynarothopy(sp?). His unsteady walking and gait is a giveaway. The booze has attacked his nervous system. Soon he'll be using a walker.
Anyway, back to your question -- YES, because he has to.

Oh, I am hoping and praying that Teddy with be the VP....That will never happen.
First of all, that gives Taxachusetts two open Senate seats if by chance Kerry wins, secondly, the democrats live in a fantasy world of VRWC and peace without victory, but they know Swimmer Ted would be almost as a polarizing pick as Hillary would.
It will be Edwards as the V.P. pick. Southern and young, good looking as compared to Lurch. The elitist northern snobs will hold their nose and vote for Kerry/Edwards ticket if it gives them a chance to win

This could be devestating to Boston's economy.
Why with the Bill and Ted's excellent adventure about to begin, they'll have to lock up all the liquor, and remove the women from the city.

They're has-beens. Doesn't the party have any young rising stars worthy of national notice? Its just as well the party's nominee and most of its speakers on his behalf look like they're set to push up daisies.

Maybe we'll see "Big Mac" Moore, "Stuart Smalley" Franken and "Journalist" Larry Flint as well. Maybe "Can't Win His Own State", Crazy Shout'N AlGore will open with "Screaming Meemie" Howie Dean.

It's the sequel to "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". As we know, sequels rarely are as good as the original.

Your laundry list of the usual suspects just made me sit up and take notice of the fact that every last one of these demoncrats are screamers. What flavor Kool-Aid are they serving these guys......Me thinks they need to have their meds checked for a possible dosage increase. LOL

Very heavy weights. Better put in extra stage supports.

Oh, I am hoping and praying that Teddy with be the VP....
That will never happen. The Constitution requires the President and VP reside in different states. Kerry would have to list one of Tuh-ray-zuh's summer homes as his primary residence in order to get around this rule.

Former President Clinton will get the coveted primetime speaking slot on opening day of the Democratic. Wouldn't it be just like the Clintons to have Bubba, during his speech, submit Hillary as a candidate and ask the convention to nominate her by acclimation, then and there??? ;_)

Also, right before the convention, we need to remind people about Chappaquidick. Maybe a TV special?

We have Arnold Schwartzengger (the guys saving California), Rudy Guiliani (The guy that saved New York) and Zell Miller (A much respected DEMOCRATIC leader) in our primetime.
They have a liar, a rapist, a murderer as theirs. Interesting.

"Bill and Teddy Will Be Heavyweight Opening Acts for Kerry." One can only hope that Kerry has these two speak often on his behalf.
