Hi, hope I do this right! I am Jays wife Marie, I am not sure how I ended up here, clicked on something and saw this prayer request last night and told Jay about it today, it really made his day.
He is still in the ICU so he can't make any phone calls. His surgery Thursday for his lungs went well, his lungs were full of a jellied infection of a mess. They cleaned it out.
He is having a very difficult time fitting the infection still left, his blood was low and he was giving several pints today. Also his white cell count is really high and his blood suger was near 400. So they have been focusing on that today. They have told us it is the trauma from the surgerys and his lack of spleen and missing part of his pancreas that is giving him problems.
Lots of prayers and antibiotics will get him through. We appriciate all the extra support, Jay sends his many thanks!

Will continue to lift Jay up in prayer to our Blessed Savior!

***(((PRAYER PING TO *193*))) (...*NEWS*!!!)***
O God that art the only hope of the world,
The only refuge for unhappy men,
Abiding in the faithfulness of heaven,
Give me strong succour in this testing place.
O King, protect thy man from utter ruin
Lest the weak faith surrender to the tyrant,
Facing innumerable blows alone.
Remember as I am dust, and wind, and shadow,
And life as fleeting as the flower of grass.
But may the eternal mercy which hath shone
From time of old
Rescue thy servant from the jaws of the lion.
Thou who didst come from on high in the cloak of flesh,
Strike down the dragon with that two-edged sword,
Whereby our mortal flesh can war with the winds
And beat down strongholds, with our Captain God.

Thanks so much for the update, I am so happy that the surgery went well. When you get a chance pass on that I am still praying for him everyday in earnest, and I believe it must be making some kind of difference.
Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Jay and Marie take comfort in the prayers and good wishes from their FReeper family ... may they soothe his soul, even as You touch his body with Your healing hand. Work in a mighty way, O God, to take away all signs of infection, that Jay would quickly improve. Give the greatest wisdom to all those treating him ... provide every means needed for his well being. We praise You for Your love and mercy upon them, O Lord, in the Name of Jesus, Amen ...
Thanks for posting, Marie. Let Jay know that we're still here thinking about you both and praying for you.
bttt, prayers for Jay.
God bless you and may Jay be healed and back up and running soon!
