Let no one make any more stupid jokes about Italians not being able to fight. Most of those stupid jokes came about as a result of WWII forgetting that Mussolini made the wrong allies -- the Italians had nothing against the British or the AMericans, in fact the upper class Italians were Anglophiles and the lower and middle classes had numerous cousins who had migrated to the US. The average Italian couldnt' understand why he was fighting against his friends and fighting alongside Nordic barbarians who wanted a pagan state (theNazis). No wonder they didn't fight.
